Blake - Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder
Brad Blake co-founded and is CEO of Blake Hunt Ventures, a private commercial real estate development and services company based in Danville, California. Blake Hunt Ventures has developed over $750 million of retail and mixed-use projects since its inception and is currently developing over $300 million of retail and mixed-use projects in the San Francisco Bay Area, Northern California and Southern California. Additionally, Mr. Blake is also a managing partner at Quattro Realty Group, a privately-owned real estate investment services and management company (for more information, please www.quattrorealty.com).
Mr. Blake was also the former Chairman, President and CEO of Western Properties Trust from February 1998 to November 2000. Western was a publicly-traded real estate investment trust that merged with Pan Pacific Retail Properties in November of 2000. Mr. Blake was also formerly Managing Director of Pacific Retail Trust and President of PRT Development Corp. (1996-98), Senior Vice President of Spieker Properties (1993-96), Partner with Spieker Partners (1988-93), and a Project Director with Trammell Crow Company (1985-87). Prior to that he worked for IBM and McKinsey and Company. Mr. Blake is on the board of directors of the Bailard REIT. Mr. Blake holds a B.A. from Stanford University (1980) and a M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business (1985).

Jerry Hunt co-founded and has been President of Blake Hunt Ventures, a private commercial real estate development company based in Danville, California, since its inception in 2000. Blake Hunt Ventures has developed over $750 million of retail projects and has established itself as one of the premiere and most active retail and mixed-use developers in Northern California. Additionally, BHV has a proven track record of success with complex transactions that include high-profile, mixed-use, redevelopment and non-formulaic developments. Mr. Hunt is also currently a managing partner at Quattro Realty Group, a privately-owned real estate investment services and management company (for more information, please visit www.quattrorealty.com).
Prior to Mr. Hunt’s work at Blake Hunt Ventures and Quattro Realty Group, he was S.V.P. and C.O.O. of Western Properties Trust from February 1998 to November 2000. Western was a publicly-traded R.E.I.T that merged with Pan Pacific Retail Properties in November 2000. Western owned and operated mostly grocery-anchored shopping centers in California, Oregon, Washington and Nevada. Before joining Western, from December 1996 to January 1998, Mr. Hunt was V.P. of Northern California operations for Pacific Retail Trust (subsequently merged with Regency Centers in 1999). From January 1994 to December 1996, Mr. Hunt was a Project Director with Spieker Properties. Mr. Hunt began his real estate career in 1988 as a retail specialist with CB Commercial Real Estate in San Jose. Mr. Hunt is a graduate of University of Pacific (B.A. 1988). |
